Outreach and Engagement
The publications directorate endeavours to ensure efficient publishing of annual content and provide holistic coverage to events happening throughout the year. Furthermore, the directorate aims to build interest among the student population for the arts through literature, fostering talents among the student body into budding writers.
The Public Relations Director and the Public Relations Directorate is responsible for the conceptualisation of a consistent and professional NUS Medical Society brand personality in both physical and online products. This involves areas of merchandise innovation, photography, social media coverage and the design of publicity material.
We seek to promote and coordinate ambassadorship opportunities and empower students to be competent ambassadors.We are in the process of creating exciting opportunities for the YLLSoM student body in terms of international exposure. This includes bilateral exchanges, hosting of our international medical counterparts and providing information/help for student electives.
The NUSSU Representative acts as a bridge between the NUS Student Union as well as the Medicine community. He oversees links with other student governance bodies to facilitate cooperation between the Medical Society and other NUS Constituent Clubs should the need arise. This can be done at the level of the Society or at the level of individual directorates.
