As one of three key players in the Education and Training Cluster of the Medical Society, we work towards our vision of an optimal learning environment for all members, which at the same time exemplifies the spirit of mentorship inherent in the long history of Medicine.

The main objectives of the Research Directorate and Wong Hock Boon Society are to attract, nurture and sustain early interest in research amongst medical undergraduate students. We also aim to encourage, recognize and incentivize the medical students with active research projects and enable these students to develop key research skills

The Careers Directorate serves to meet the needs and concerns that students may have on their future careers. We accomplish this through student advocacy, sharing knowledge for informed decision-making, honing clinical and non-clinical skills and, finally, promoting self-care and work-life balance.
