Education & TRaining
As one of three key players in the Education and Training Cluster of the Medical Society, we work towards our vision of an optimal learning environment for all members, which at the same time exemplifies the spirit of mentorship inherent in the long history of Medicine.
The main objectives of the Research Directorate and Wong Hock Boon Society are to attract, nurture and sustain early interest in research amongst medical undergraduate students. We also aim to encourage, recognize and incentivize the medical students with active research projects and enable these students to develop key research skills
We hope to help students make informed career choices by identifying gaps in students’ knowledge about careers, obtaining information to fill that gap, and presenting it via accessible means like career talks, career fairs and engagement sessions.
